Why You Should Hang On You Should A Windows Xp Software
In my opinion Windows XP software is still the best available. It's true that I have not yet tried Windows 7 but, of the others, XP seems to be the best on the market. If you are looking to buy an operating system and don't want to spend a lot of money then XP will probably be your best choice.
Vista has come down in price some and is newer than XP but Vista had a rocky start and just wasn't what everyone had though it should be. It caused most systems to lag due to limited memory and most people were not impressed. There were also a lot of compatibility issues with Vista and a lot of people couldn't run their favorite programs until they were fixed.
Linux is fairly cheap and some people really like it. I am not one of them. I have a difficult time learning a new format and frankly I don't have time to take to learn to use it properly. This is an operating system geared towards programmers and techs. Yes, it is cheap but this is not a system I would want to have to use on a daily basis though I am sure it does wonderfully for those who do use it.
And now we have the long awaited Windows 7 software available to us. Of course a big issue with this is the price. This is still a very expensive operating system and most people are not going to be in a hurry to run out and buy it unless they have no choice. There will no doubt be a few glitches here and there but we can hope that they will not be like those of Vista. Once you do get around to buying it you may never even know they existed.
Windows XP software did all we hoped it would. It was a fresh new look and it is what we judge other systems by. As far as operating systems goes it is the best we have had so far. Until something comes out that really wows us the way this does I think a lot of people may opt to stay with what they have as long as they have a choice.
The biggest problem you mat face with XP is finding an available copy for sale. Those who have it will be holding on to it for that very reason. The price has come down considerably but may go back up as copies become harder to find. With 2 new systems out I feel Microsoft will discontinue this one soon.
Until I know more about windows 7 I intend to stay with Windows XP software. To me it just makes more sense to keep the operating system you have when it still works perfectly fine. Of course it may not be long before XP is obsolete and new programs may not work correctly with the current software.
